In this paper, we study the optical attenuation behavior of several kinds of single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNT) including pure SWNT, modified with COOH, NH۲, and OH all with the thickness of ۵ m. We focus on attenuation in communication wavelength range between ۱۲۶۰ and ۱۶۴۰ nm for non-amplification, and ۱۵۲۰-۱۵۷۰ nm for optical amplification setup.
